I'm thrilled to welcome you when we open our doors on August 1, 2025.

Whether you're here for a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry, interested in a fun way to explain the rock cycle to your class or school, or just browsing, you’re in the right place.  This is THE place where science sparkles and creativity sizzles!

The name Rock Me Baby came about nearly 25 years ago, when my husband Jay and I dreamed up the idea of opening a store. His side would echo with the sounds of vintage vinyl—from every genre imaginable—while mine would gleam with crystals, fossils, gemstones, and handmade jewelry. The name still brings a smile, and that shared love for “rock” continues to shape everything we do.

We dig rocks—literally, we've dug up many of them! Fueled by a love of geology, vinyl record jam sessions, and home-cooked goodness, we turn dirt-dusted stones into sparkling storytellers. Whether it’s a rough chunk fresh from the Earth or a polished gem with serious glow-up energy, our pieces keep it real. And we don’t just admire them—we teach with them, bringing the rock cycle to life using actual rocks, fossils, crystals, and minerals. Science class never sparkled like this!

To date, we've visited over 1,200 students  (and counting) in public and private schools, giving them a hands-on, rock-solid experience that helps them connect directly with the Earth’s story. Even if gemstones and crystals aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, seeing them up close often sparks lasting curiosity.

In the shop, you’ll find a timeline of my journey—from my very first jewelry pieces to those that mark each milestone in my growth as an artist. I’ve also tucked in a few antique treasures collected along the way—each limited item with its own charm and story to tell. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind design or a found piece with history, everything here is selected with care.

 

We believe every crystal has a story—so be sure to cleanse the one you’ve got now, and if you’re curious, take a moment to explore its deeper nature. You might just discover the chemical composition that gives it those unique vibes.

Every detail of this site reflects that same devotion. At nearly sixty, I started learning web design (on June 10, 2025), and then built this space from scratch along with a cell phone version. From product photos to packaging with care, every part of this shop is touched by hand. Jay is here through every twist in the journey, helping photograph items, and our rescue pup, Tea, is always there to remind me to pause and give her a treat. We are blessed with two beautiful daughters, three grandsons, and a wonderful son-in-law. Though life keeps us all busy and we don't see them as often as we'd like, every moment spent together is precious. Whether it's sharing stories, laughter, or cooking up a new dish, those times are deeply cherished and always leave our hearts full. ​

​While we appreciate the beauty and wonder of the natural world, we want to be clear that ours is a Christian household, grounded in a deep and unwavering faith in God! This space was made for education, shopping, and sharing.

We’re more than just a crystal and jewelry shop—we’re really rockin’... and soon, we’ll be cookin’!  Not to get ahead of my self but, in the near future, we hope to bring you school-friendly Earth science videos, heartwarming cooking tutorials, and how-to videos, so we can connect through learning and joy. When we open, we will be ready for school demonstrations.  What other site offers this?  None!  We know we rock and were proud of it.
